A Letter to Myself (on Miscarriage)

** This is a letter I wrote to myself about what I would like to know before I experienced all my early miscarriages. Please keep in mind that each person will be different, and each miscarriage will be different. My main advice to you if you’ve experienced a miscarriage is advice that was given to me by a great friend. Think about what would help you to heal, and do that. Whatever it may be, and it may be several things. It could be anything but some examples are: a trip to visit a friend, seeing a therapist, or in my case: starting to work out, eating healthier, and writing a letter to myself. Also, open up and talk to your friends and family.

Being a tall woman can have its advantages, like being able to reach high objects and being ok with wearing flats instead of heels. But it also has its disadvantages like when it comes trying to buy clothes that fit, especially when shopping online.

This chart is my go-to reference whenever I am shopping online. Just wanted to share it here with all of you because it will make your life so much easier. Continue reading

Stitch Fix Update. Is it really that great?

Since my first Stitch Fix, I’ve received probably about 4 more. For my latest one, I posted a short youtube video of the unboxing. And after I tried everything on though, I realized I only really loved one of the items. Since this Fix had been waived the $20 styling fee, I decided to just return it all because I really wasn’t that happy with it.

Vancouver, British Columbia

Vancouver is a beautiful city located near the coast on the southwest corner of Canada. The weather, temperature, and picturesque scenery is very similar to Seattle. Because of its variety of scenery, many television shows are filmed in the town.

Located just 142 miles, or a little under 3 hours drive, north of Seattle. Many local Seattle Jews like to make the trip to Vancouver occasionally mainly for the kosher meat restaurants.

We made a trip back in May 2015, while my husband was about to start a new job and our daughter was just a little over 3 months old. It was so nice to get away from home for a while and to see a new city.

The Best Toddler Travel Tips

This list is a compilation of toddler travel tips that were suggested to us by friends as well things that we picked up along the way. Though this list could be utilized for any sort of travel, we found this to be a great companion for our trip to Israel with our daughter who was almost 2 years old. I should note that most of the stuff we brought with us was bought from Goodwill or the Dollar Store, that way if it got lost we weren’t out a lot of money.

This May Be the Best Kitchen Appliance Ever

Recently our washer and dryer both broke down at the same time. So while my husband was at the store buying the new washer and dryer, he found out that the dishwasher I’ve been talking about for a long time was on sale. Turns out that the store also offered 12 months no interest payment plans and the total monthly price is the amount I’ve been saving monthly to buy this dishwasher anyway. So we bought it. And it was totally worth it.
