Last week we celebrated the holiday of Shavuos. During this holiday we are celebrating G-d giving us the Torah which occurred on Shavuos at Mount Sinai over 3,300 years ago.
It is a holiday typically filled with dairy meals, and with that, obviously, comes cheesecake. So much cheesecake.
If you know me, every time I search for a recipe I include the word “easy” in that search.
These are some really easy and delicious white cupcakes with chocolate frosting that I made for my birthday (ok, mostly I made them because I’m a sugar addict, I didn’t need a good reason). They can easily be made pareve or dairy. I actually made them pareve this time and they were delicious.
Quinoa is one of those side dishes that really needs to be spiced up a little. This recipe is a really easy and simple way to make your quinoa tasty. We recently made this for Shabbos as a side dish with Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken Thighs (recipe coming soon). It was such an easy meal and a delicious change to our normal flavors.
Coffee concentrate (or essence) comes in handy when you are tired of instant coffee and want some actual good tasting coffee on Shabbos. Or, it is also good when you want to serve coffee to a crowd without having to be in the kitchen brewing coffee while everyone else is having a good time.
